MAJOR - Observed dried rodent droppings in the back storage room on the floor along the perimeter of the room, in btw. cracks in floor, and on a shelf near some wine bottles. Observed conditions that may lead to vermin entry including lack of door sweep, hole in wall near exit, and clutter. Operator states facility receives monthly treatment for pest control of rodents, but was unable to find August's report. Food facilities shall be kept free from vermin. Get facility treated for mice/rats ASAP and send me report by Tuesday 9/14. Clean up droppings now using bleach and paper towels. Clean and sanitize ALL shelving units in dry storage room and wine bottles. Inspect food packaging and discard any food that has been damaged. Provide door sweep under exit and repair hole in wall by reinspection on 9/16/21. Have the facility's structure inspected and assessed to identify entry points -- seal all holes/cracks/gaps to prevent entry. Repeat violation. Remove/organize clutter in facility storage to prevent vermin harborage. Seal all holes in facility.
